GOC JOINS LAWSUIT AGAINST LA COUNTY SHERIFFS FOR CCW STONEWALLING
GOC Joins Robust Legal Team Challenging CCW Delays, Fees
In direct response to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department repeatedly stonewalling the process to issue concealed carry permits, Gun Owners of California is proud to join a lawsuit filed today challenging them and the “constitutionality of (its) carry permit issuance policies and laws that make it extremely difficult, if not outright impossible.”
In concert with a host of Second Amendment stalwarts such as CRPA, Gun Owners of America, Gun Owners Foundation and the Second Amendment Foundation, GOC is taking this issue to the courts to battle persistent delays, outlandish fee increases and red-tape obstacles that are in direct violation of the Bruen decision.
“The push-back against Bruen has to stop” said GOC’s Executive Director Sam Paredes. “Obstructing the responsible and lawful from being able to secure a CCW in a timely manner is not only unconstitutional, but it’s vengeful as well.”
