If it Weren’t So Chilling, It Would Be Funny.

Guns with bullet buttons are designed for one thing and one thing only:  to facilitate the maximum destruction of human life.

Let’s get this straight: To facilitate the destruction of human life.

So says Senator Isadore Hall, whose well-earned reputation for being a porn industry “condom crusader” has now turned his attention to the dangers of the bullet button with the introduction of SB 880.  His bill will,  as he says, close the bullet button “loophole” by redefining “assault weapons” to include “military-style semi-automatic” firearms that don’t have a fixed ammunition magazine.

It’s hard to imagine how in good conscience, someone can make such an outlandish statement about facilitating the destruction of human life – political correctness notwithstanding.  If Hall actually believes such drivel, he should seek cover in the nearest bunker, because there are literally millions of guns in California affixed with bullet buttons.  That should be enough to scare the living daylights out of the snappy-dressed Senator because – oh my – there must be a gun under every rock, ready to wreak destruction on the innocent.

Hall can’t argue with his own words.  What he is saying – with absolute certainty – is that those of us who possess a gun with a bullet button have it for the single purpose of being able to take a human life and to do it efficiently, quickly and with the most damage possible.

Let’s be honest.  Fear works.  Inciting panic and terror is an all-time favorite tool of the political left, and there is no real compunction to “fight fair” in this issue war.  The media is generally complicit, so the anti-gunners can pretty much stir the fear pot with impunity.  They will use whatever tactics work best, and they have an inflammatory arsenal at their disposal – complete with ambitious, liberal politicians such as Isadore Hall.  The truth, is there are literally hundreds of thousands – if not millions – of law abiding gun owners who own firearms with bullet buttons – the overwhelming majority of whom have never committed a crime with these weapons.

According to the Attorney General’s office, in 2014, there were 14 crimes committed with long guns, which includes rifles and firearms classified as “assault weapons.”

We doubt Senator Hall will do a press release on these statistics.

GOC is not afraid of the facts and we are going to continue to shine a bright light on manipulated data and erroneous statements such as Halls.
